Sketches in Thyme Design Team Call!!

The 6 month term for our talented Mavens is drawing to a close, and while some will be staying on, we are looking for new members to join our Sketches in Thyme design team! If you enjoy creating layouts from sketches, partipating in blogs and motivating others to take part in fantastic challenges, this might be your chance to be a part of our fantastic Design Team! Your term would run November-April, and you would be asked to complete 2 layouts per month. If you would like a chance to be considered, here's what you need to do:

1-Create a new layout based on our sketch below.

2-Post about our DT call on your blog, along with your take on our sketch.

3-Leave a comment here telling us that you would like to be considered for the DT, along with a link to your blog post! 

The deadline for this call is October 31st, and our new Design Team will be announced on November 3rd! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!!

September's Open Challenge

I cannot believe another month is coming to a close! This has been a busy month for many of us, with back-to-school and all the routines starting up again. We thank all of you for taking time out of your crazy schedules to take part in our challenges each week! It's time for our 3rd and final challenge of the month for you today, our "Open Challenge". It's easy to play along! Just link up a new creation you've made for this challenge using ANY SKETCH, try out a sketch from a favorite blog or maybe create your own. As long as you use a sketch you can enter the challenge!! Hello and happy September to you!! It's Sketches in Thyme Maven Tiffany with our first of 3 challenges for the month. The first 2 challenges of the month will be sketch challenges using our very own Sketches in Thyme ORIGINAL sketches. And speaking of our SiT sketches, did you see we have a new page on our blog to show off all of our sketches? We hope is that you can use this blog as a great reference and come back to it anytime for great sketchy inspiration. Our 3rd challenge will be our tried and true open challenge- no sketch provided. You use your own sketch, find a favorite from another blog, as long as you use a sketch, you can join in!! All 3 challenges will run for the entire month, so you'll have PLENTY of time to put our sketches to good use! Each participant will be entered in our monthly drawing; we have some fabulous sponsors lined up for you!!

Top 3 and our August Winner!!

Happy September everyone! huge thanks to all of you talented scrappers out there who joined in our August challenges- 62 total entries- WOW!!! The Mavens have been very busy this week looking through each entry and visiting your blogs to select our top 3 as well as our big August winner! First, let's start with our Top 3 for the month:

First we have Irinka and her sweet and pretty take on Sketch #53. Love that circle of flowers and the lacey edging on the white CS.

Second, we have Agrofena with her layout for Sketch #54. This LO is so bright and pretty and those paint drips are so messy and fun!

And thirdly we have Charlotte, the winner of our Open Challenge. We are loving those handmade flowers- so much texture!!
